Hi, I'm Kim, the founder of Forever Near.

I started Forever Near in 2019, and I still find it hard to believe how quickly the years have passed. What began as a small idea has grown into a business that has been trusted to create over 1,000 handcrafted memorial pieces for more than 700 families.

Forever Near is, and always has been, a one-woman business. Every email, every enquiry, every design, every memorial stone and every parcel that leaves my studio has been created, packed and cared for by me. From customer service to craftsmanship, you're dealing directly with the person making your jewellery from start to finish.

My journey into memorial jewellery began while running my first small business, Kikii, where I created handmade phone cases and gifts using resin. After losing my grandad, I decided to create a keepsake keyring containing a small amount of his ashes for my nana. It was something deeply personal, made simply to bring her comfort.

When friends and family saw the piece, they asked whether I could create something similar for them. It quickly became clear that there was a need for memorial jewellery that combined exceptional quality with genuine compassion.

That single keepsake inspired Forever Near.

From the very beginning, I wanted to create jewellery that was not only beautiful but also made with care, respect and attention to detail. I spent countless hours researching materials, refining techniques and sourcing suppliers whose quality matched the standard I wanted my customers to receive.

Every memorial stone is handcrafted by me using carefully selected materials and genuine crushed opals, with each inclusion placed by hand. No two pieces are ever the same, because every story and every loved one is unique.

I understand that choosing memorial jewellery is never simply about buying jewellery. It's about preserving memories, celebrating a life and carrying someone special with you every day.

Having experienced loss myself, I know there are no words that can truly ease the pain. But if I can create something that brings even a small amount of comfort during such a difficult time, then I feel incredibly privileged to do what I do.
